Rothenburg

We popped in on our return trip from Neuschwanstein, for a brief visit of running around the streets, photographing before it got too dark. Rothenburg is a walled, medieval town with cobbled streets and narrow, tall houses with pointed roofs, each painted a different color. The shop windows are full of beautiful things and the cafes have tempting pastries. It's like a city-sized Golden Lane, but maybe even cuter.
